About Josh Rose

In my 32 years in the game industry, I have overseen the launch of 40+ software products, 30+ of which were games, and eight of which I designed himself. I have assembled international game production teams of over 75 people, for both large and small clients, including ngmoco:) and Glu Mobile. I have also worked with top-tier IPs such as Star Wars, Lady Gaga, and the George Romero Dawn of the Dead franchise. Most recently, I've been working in gamification for social/mobile networking applications.I have built several game development companies. I founded Lamplighter Studios—an art outsourcing company that I also ran as CEO. After successfully building Lamplighter up to 80 people it was sold to Broadcaster.com at which point I went to co-found Flying Wisdom Studios, a leading developer of mobile and social games for the iOS and Android platforms. Flying Wisdom Studios produced a wide genre of games from casual social/mobile puzzle games to 3D role playing shooters. Flying Wisdom Studios created 18 iPhone games in less than 2 years that included multiple Top 10 and Top 25 apps in the App Store.
