I have created a children's book series called 'My Doodles Books' based on a young adult with Rett Syndrome who I help care for. The books are about the teenager and myself (Doodle and Rosie) showing off their adventures and friendship; not letting Doodles wheelchair stop them from having fun! My mission is to change the world (one story at a time); the proception of children who have a disability. Why can't all children be the same? I have cared for Doodle for nearly six years now and she has truly changed my life so I want to change hers too! She is non verbal however still has the best sense of humour, kindness and love and our friendship is pure! Due to being dyslexic I struggled largely at school, however, writing now has become my passion and I will continue to write books about Doodle, giving her a voice!
