• Carries out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activities at the site follows as per approved Method Statement and Inspection Test Plan.• Coordinates with the Consultant’s or Client’s Representative and Site-in-Charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-compliance Report.• Reports to the Corporate QA/QC Manager, control and monitor all activities related to Quality Related System (QMS), Environment, Health and Safety Management.• Taking care of MTQC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instructions/observations and permanent materials delivered.• Helps develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis, inspection test plan and checklist based on specifications of the project.• Carries out internal audit at the site as schedule in the Project Quality Plan• Monitors test results conducted by the Laboratory Technician.• Checks concrete design mixes prepared by the Materials Engineer• Prepares weekly inspection report and submits them to Corporate QA/QC Manager• Closely monitors rectifications to be done on discrepancies noted in the quality of workmanship.• Maintains, designs and controls quality strategies and quality management system that forms the total quality management

• Monitored bored piling works from geotechnical investigation, verification of the location of pile, drilling works, rebar inspections, concrete pouring and testing of bored piles; - Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) - Pile Integrity Tester (PIT) - Cross-hole Sonic Logging (CSL)• Monitored construction of elevated structures for guideway works as per approved Method Statement starting from its foundation for a light rail transit. The structure consists of bored piless supporting reinforced concrete column, coping beam, precast box girder, precast translab, cast-in-situ link slab, deckslan and parapets.• Monitored Bored Pile Installation to ensure the integrity of the pile foundation including adequate and proper cleaning of its bottom from cutting and degraded rock. Also ensures that the specified socket depth is attained and adequately verified by actual inspection.• Monitored construction at depressed guideway and checks the progress of quality of works for tunnel guideway starting from construction of guidewall, diaphragm wall and capping beam.• Witnessed and conducted Bentonite Slurry Quality Testing during construction of Diaphragm Wall. The tests conducted are as follows; - Viscosity (using stopwatch) - Density (using Mud Balance Kit) - Potential of Hydrogen / pH (using pH-indicator strips, non-bleeding) - Sand Content (using Baroid Test Tube)• Monitored the soil construction of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Wall, conducted soil test, Field Density Tests and conducted inspection on installation of its precast wall.• Assigned at the batching plant to check the cement factor, batching weight of concrete as per design enable to maintain the consistency and workability of ready-mix concrete.• Monitors and witness concrete and soil testing if the specimen passes the required strength.• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all the safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.

• Review and familiarize approved drawings, plans and specifications, codes and all the requirements.• Monitor on-going activities at site to ensure the good quality of work.• Perform inspection, testing or examination on construction activities to ensure full compliance with the requirement of drawings and project specifications.• Conduct preliminary inspections prior to joint inspections with the Client and/or Company Representative.• Ensures that all material and equipment to be incorporated into the permanent installation are in compliance with the project contracts, drawings, and specifications with the Client and/or company approval.• Monitors, controls and plans the inspection activities at site.• Exercise judgement in all inspection activities in accordance with project procedures and standard and specifications.
