I am a graduate from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) with a B.M. in Music Marketing; I have also received a Certification in Instrumental Performance. I studied violin with SA Philharmonic member Dr. Stephanie Westney, and was a member of the UTSA Symphonic, Chamber, and Lyric Theater Orchestras for four years under the direction of Dr. Eugene Dowdy. I was also the lead female vocalist of the UTSA Jazz Ensemble for two years under the direction of Dr. Adrian Ruiz. My expertise in the music field extends beyond Marketing and into other concentrations such as Music Education and Performance. I have several years of teaching experience through the UTSA String Project, Antonio Strad Violin, The Talent House, and freelance private lessons. I have performed both locally and internationally in places such as San Antonio, Dallas, Corpus Christi, Houston, and France. In partial fulfillment of the requirements for my degree, I promoted and produced my own Senior Violin Recital and completed an internship in Music Administration. In my current role as Digital Content Coordinator for the Houston Grand Opera, my job is to develop and nurture a dynamic online presence across all our social media platforms. Collaborating closely with our Marketing & Creative teams, we play a pivotal role in strategizing and executing multichannel marketing initiatives, ensuring our brand's resonance across various platforms.I am a proud musician with diverse experience in multiple music disciplines and a unique marketing skillset. I take great pleasure in sharing my passion with those around me and aim to leave a lasting impact in the Houston arts community. My current objective is to build and maintain connections to expand my influence within the industry, driving the growth of music appreciation in the Greater Houston area.
