I believe that everyone has the right to access reliable, evidence-based and practical support for their mental health. To do this we need people who can bridge theory and practice. I strive to be the kind of person who does this in everything that I do. As a teenager, I dreamed of working in fashion. So I was just as surprised as anyone when, 10 years after finishing my fashion studies, I began a career as a psychology researcher! Here is my theory. My interest in fashion was driven by my natural curiosity in understanding how one's environment shapes a person's behaviours, actions and choices. From working in a psychophysiology laboratory for my PhD, to working onsite at a therapeutic community for drug and alcohol use, I am passionate about using my strong analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills to produce and support research with social impact. Research areas: mental health, LGBTQI psychology, defensive motivation
Listed skills include Data Management, Quantative Analysis, Eeg, Teamwork, and 14 others.
