I designed and pioneered the study of Drama as a core subject in the Foundation Studies Program, a year-long pre-university preparation course for International students. I have developed curriculum, programs, trained staff, and recruited students, undertaken marketing missions in Australia and Asia. I have innovated curriculum for Melbourne University's Indigenous Programs and have facilitated original approaches to teaching Indigenous Australian students. I work in partnership with staff at Murrup Barak, Institute of Indigenous Development.

I have a unique approach to training and teaching, using applied theatre techniques to maximize effectiveness. I have designed programs for corporate and private sectors, and developed curriculum for tertiary institutions. My areas of special expertise is for building confidence and cultural competence in multicultural and cross-cultural situations. Designed corporate training programs for individuals and groups from graduate entry level to Partners in leading accounting firms in Australia and Asia. Conducted workshops in communication skills and cultural competency for Education, Law, and Commerce faculties, the University of Melbourne.

I conducted a series of weekend theatre workshops with volunteer actors from within Melbourne's Indian community leading to 3 community performances in Craigieburn, Dandenong & Albert Park, exploring themes of family violence. Using Forum Theatre the community audiences were invited to observe and comment on four scenarios exploring issues around family violence and to voice solutions against domestic violence.

Working with clients in advanced communication skills, increasing confidence & self awareness, and exploring issues of transitional and cultural identity which can be barriers to success. I have worked with Indigenous Australian leaders.

I delivered a keynote titled "Creating Indigenous Futures" for Indigenous organisation Yalari Limited, for their National Partnership Schools Weekend at Abbotsleigh School in Sydney, NSW, Australia. In addition to the keynote I ran a workshop called "Creating a Participatory Space" for principals and senior teachers to showcase my approach toward teaching Indigenous young people. My work focuses on increasing the effectiveness of education and training programs for Indigenous people.

I conducted individual and group training in communication skills, client relations, effective team management, work/life balance, presentation skills for Managers and Partners in Tax.

As an external consultant I advised companies on staff training and program effectiveness. I designed training and coaching programs for communication skills for individuals and groups for a variety of companies, including Arthur Anderson, Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, EY Melbourne, Sydney, KPMG Sydney, Melbourne. I designed communication skills training across all levels in Tax - graduates, seniors, managers, partners. I undertook several projects of one-on-one coaching of Partners, group and individual training of Managers in personal and professional development, client relationships, time management, managing stress and work/life balance, developing teamwork skills, professional effectiveness.

In this seconded position I developed and conducted a variety of training programs and resources to promote understanding across faculties about cultural diversity. I designed a university wide tutor training package to orient staff for a culturally diverse student cohort. I researched and developed a graduate training program for education faculty for international students who are teachers in training. Developed training seminar for faculty of Economics and Commerce to promote participation by international students in tutorials/lectures/group work tasks. Undertook research in culturally diverse programs, designed a one day colloquium around teaching and learning and cultural diversity.

Developed Drama curricula across the senior school, directed school and inter-school productions, facilitated artists for additional projects and workshops.
