About Rose Mary Ludt

I worked in a public library for 25 years, focusing on teen services for 11 years and writing books about teen services for 7 years. I edited YALS, the official journal of the Young Adult Library Services Association, and the teens @ the library series for Neal-Schuman Publishers. I also was a development editor, helping authors develop their proposals and manuscripts, for Neal-Schuman. I became the Editor-in-Chief of Voice of Youth Advocates (VOYA) magazine on May 1, 2009, resigning in October 2019. I then started the Teen Librarian Bookshelf series with Rowman & Littlefield. I began editing the YA nonfiction series, Empowering You, for Rowman & Littlefield in 2020. My art career was initially sporadic but has grown with my involvement with ZAAP Gallery and ArtCoZ.Specialties: writing, editing, painting
