I currently work on the Southern, Eastern & Midland Regional Programme 2021-2027 with responsibility for Priority 3 - The Town Centre First Heritage Revival Scheme - THRIVE. I also have responsibility for the Selection of Operations, Do No Significant Harm, and Simplified Costs Options across all Priorities.

I commenced working with the Southern Regional Assembly in 2018 as EU projects officer with primary responsibility for 3 Interreg Europe projects – EMPOWER, MATCH-UP and MARIE. I have responsibility for all communication for these projects including the design and dissemination of project brochures, pop up stands, press releases, calendars and all social media. I also build, collaborate with and engage external stakeholder groups for each project at European, National, Regional and Local level to ensure their continuing support and assistance in implementing our Regional Action Plans. I prepare and submit EU funding applications with experience in Interreg Europe and Horizon 2020. I manage the ETC Network for all Interreg Project Officers in Southern Ireland. I represent the Southern Regional Assembly at Local, Regional, National and European Conferences including working closely with, presenting and co moderating at Interreg Europe events.I previously worked as a researcher with Waterford Institute of Technology on proposal development for European Co Funded projects. I have over 20 years business and financial consultancy, project management and industry experience both in Ireland and the UK.

Business Model Strategist and Retail Customer Experience Strategist with over 20 years business consultancy and industry experience both in Ireland and the UK including business start up’s, micro SME and SME scaling and expansion and corporate business development. Expertise is across a diverse range of sectors including retail, leisure, tourism, housing, education & training, property & charity sectors. As a Business Model Strategist I design, develop and implement innovative business models for SMEs across a wide range of industries and sectors. In my role as a Retail Customer Experience Strategist I develop customer personas and identify customer needs by undertaking a full assessment of the customer experience lifecycle and touchpoints for retail SME’s. Past projects have utilised consumer, business and market research to create insights that can assist in developing unique value propositions for new products and services and helping businesses to understand what customers’ value.
