In my role as Office Manager, I wear many hats. My first and utmost priority is to ensure that my colleagues come to a safe, fun, comfortable, and cohesive environment every day. I am able to obtain this type of environment through office events, safety and emergency preparedness training, and employee led innovation labs. • Invision Communications
    Client Services Coordinator
    Invision Communications Jan 2014 - Jan 2016
    Greater New York City Area
In my role as Client Services Coordinator, I heavily engaged in business development through proposals, marketing presentations and various marketing projects. I spent a great deal of time coordinating proposals to ensure that they were sent out in the highest quality. It was common for me to also oversee or assist proposal coordinators on other projects, often while I was deep in my own proposal. When spending time away from business development, I was often times collaborating with the head of Client Services on tasks including department goals and procedures, forecasts and database maintenance, and vendor relationships. The nature of this role allowed me to become a hub of resources. This had proved to be handy as I was quickly and regularly approached to assist in resource and information collection by co-workers across the organization.

  • Enterprise Rent-A-Car
    Managment Trainee
    Enterprise Rent-A-Car Aug 2012 - Jun 2013
    Austin, Texas Area
My management training program at Enterprise Rent-A-Car was very beneficial to me. I was taught incredibly useful skills in this sales environment. More importantly, I was taught how to run a business from front end to back end. I learned how to market my company and bring in new and repeat business, and how to provide top-notch service to bring repeat business. One of my primary objectives was to provide top-notch customer service. Enterprise Rent-A-Car is truly dedicated to making sure all of their customers are 100% completely satisfied. Not only was I taught reactive customer service, but more importantly I was taught proactive customer service. Along with strengthening my customer service skills, my interpersonal skills were further developed. Being exposed to all demographics of the public, I was able to deepen my interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with anyone that I met.Sales was the other big component to this position. This retail sales was a little more challenging than a normal sales position. However, I gained insightful sales tactics and implemented them to overcome any obstacles thrown in my path. • Texas State University Athletics
    Marketing Promotions Intern
Texas State University Athletics Aug 2011 - May 2012
    San Marcos, Tx
With Texas state With Texas State University I was an intern for the Assistant director of Marketing and Promotions. This was a wonderful internship that helped me gain much experience in the sports industry. In this position I would work many sporting events for all the mainstream sports in college. This includes football, volleyball, soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball. My main duties for the sporting events included preparation of all promotions for the event, and carrying out those promotions during the event. I would also work in the office where I would assist my supervisors with any marketing and events tasks that they needed to be complete. This role had me more involved in the office setting of marketing and promotions. I would be in charge of creation of promotions and promotional materials, editing game scripts, and implementation of marketing plans. It was also my responsibility to promote up-coming sporting events around the city. This usually had me at the center of campus telling all the students of any events. But I could also be found around the city spreading the news. This position gave me a greater sense of all the goes into marketing and promotions. I would say this internship provided me the most insight and experience to my sports careerMy greatest accomplishment:Toward the end of my internship I was given the responsibility to help coordinate our 2012 football season home opening pre-game event. I worked with the ROTC Captain at the university and scheduled a military flyover. I rented a field sized flag from the Alamobowl to be revealed during the National Anthem. After those I coordinated smaller promotional events that happened around the stadium. Everything went down perfectly and the event was a success.
  • Spurs Sports & Entertainment
    Game Crew/Team Energy
    Spurs Sports & Entertainment Sep 2010 - May 2011
    San Antonio, Texas
I worked with Game Crew my first season with the Spurs. My main goal in this position was to execute on-court and in-arena promotions during, before, and after Spurs basketball events. The promotions were usually fan related contests and most of the time were tied in with a corporate sponsor. These often took place during any intermission in gameplay. The other Game Crew Members and I would be sure to carry out these sponsored promotions accurately and in a timely manner. The beautiful thing about this position is the amount of timing and precision must go into the duties. Being on such a large scale as the NBA, presentation is everything. Any mistake could potentially ruin the promotion, make the Spurs look silly, or even as bad as interfere with current or potential sponsors. The fact that my co-workers and I were trusted with such a big responsibility was truly meaningful. Needless to say we executed our duties perfectlyDuring my second season I was a member of Team Energy. Team energy is a bit different than my role with Game Crew. My position was still centered around promotions, however, these promotions were more in the spot light and had greater fan interaction. This would usually involve getting the fans excited before, during, and after Spurs basketball events. This means we would get immersed in giant crowds of people and do what it takes to get the crowd going.Promotions still played a major part of this position. Some of these promotions were not sponsored and were more for greater fan involvement included t-shirt tosses, flag waving, and starting Spurs chants.Greatest Accomplishment:I was voted Top Employee with my involvement with Game Crew and the Team Energy member of the season for my outstanding performance and enthusiasm during both season. I was awarded these because of my leadership, commitment, enthusiasm, and overall work ethic. Winning these awards was easy task and it was truly an honor to receive them.
  • Austin Turfcats
    Promotions Assistant
    Austin Turfcats Apr 2009 - Jul 2009
    Austin, Texas
The Austin Turfcats were an arena football in Austin, Texas. Here I was the Promotions Assistant. My main focus was marketing and promotions, but I would occasional work with game operations too. The marketing and promotions side of this position included execution of promotional events throughout the game, and creation of promotional material. I also assisted in the development of writing sponsorship announcements. For game operations I worked the scoreboard and assisted with the set-up and break-down of the field. My role here was a bit different.I was the assistant to the Promotions Manager . My role was a supervisory role to the others interns. It was my duty to see that all promotions were set-up and executed properly. Along with being sure the interns performed well, I was also a guide to their needs and questions about their duties, roles, tasks.Greatest Accomplishment:One night after the event all of the other interns had left, my supervisor, the facility manager, and I to take apart the entire field. This included the wall around the field and the turf. Since there was only three of us working this took a lot of time and energy. It was definitely a rather intriguing (and long) experience!
