This included the production of a weekly bulletin shared with the USAID Mission in Kenya. Oversaw the development of internally generated communication and promotional materials. And provided final editorial support to AHADI reports and publications and offered guidance on printing specifications. Success story documentation: documented AHADI's implementation work across Kenya and interviewed beneficiaries to develop compelling photographic and written human interest stories of the success of the AHADI programme; shared with funders and partners. Knowledge management: Worked with AHADI’s programme teams to develop content, edit, brand and print hundreds of manuals, workbooks and reports disseminated to partners and beneficiaries. Support Program and Monitoring and Evaluation Teams: ensured coverage of ongoing programme activities, providing support in the development, quality assurance and production of AHADI knowledge products and as requested by AHADI partners.

Entrusted to set up and run the communication department of the company in Dar es Salaam; establishing a communication workflow and framework encompassing development of communication strategy and policy for the entire Centre and its operations. Managing a USD 45,000 communication budget and further engaging directly with Centre’s partners in the private sector and lead funders; DFID, USAID, Royal Norwegian Embassy, Tanzania and the World Bank to ensure all communication needs by all partners are met and executed.Provide communication management and leadership, to set up a communication department and framework for operation for the USD 4 million funded organisation.Communication training of staff on various aspects of communication from social media usage, photography, report writing and branding.Communication strategy and brand development, engaging with SAGCOT Centre partners in the public, private and development sectors to synergise and amplify the Centre’s corporate identity and brand; to build top of mind awareness within Tanzania and abroad. Providing additional support to the SAGCOT Investment Project, a USD 70 million project, funded by the World Bank.Writing, editing, art direction and content development and management of the Centre’s website, monthly newsletter, social media accounts, brochures, advertising and editorial content. Media Management and coordination of media coverage for the Centre, establishing relationships with local press ensuring broad coverage of the Centre’s work nationwide. Social Media management, which raised dormant social media sites raising site visitors by 200 % and social media followers with much more interaction and engagement.Knowledge management of Centre information, in coordination with monitoring and planning and quality assurance teams; producing a knowledge management policy.
