The teaching profession is one of the most important and impactful professions in our society. The Elevate Teaching movement is part of the state-funded Teacher and Outreach Campaign focused on elevating the teaching profession to the respect it deserves and actively inspiring individuals to become teachers, especially from communities of color and American Indian communities in Minnesota. I serve part time on Opportunity Reboot, a Social Innovation Fund initiative to reconnect "opportunity youth" of Minnesota to education and career pathways.
