Initially for 6 Months, it was a one man show and I was responsible for managing Sales / Documentation / Operations / Administration. I started this branch from scratch and now it is considered as one of highly performing branch with export & import volume of around 500 teus/month and revenue of 125,000 Usd/Month and a workforce of 9 members. In the year 2011, was promoted and designated as Business Development manager. Primary job was to achieve provided branch targets both in terms of Volume and Revenue. Manpower management, Ahmedabad Branch consisted of 9 employees, so managing employees for better yield was a main objective. Coordinating with management and sales staff for providing marketing information and business forecast. Monitoring sales call of 2 sales persons and be a part of call. Monitoring documentation & operations desk Monitoring line port operation for Pipavav Port (APM Terminal) and 7 inland container depots. Providing regional office with all marketing reports / receivable report on weekly basis. I was actively involved in Domestic Coastal Project, Where we planned to move the cargos moving from West and North India to Southern part of India by road to sea, we succeeded in our project and we were able to reduce the cost by 30%.
