1-Learnt the basics of hydraulic modeling, need and scope in water resources engineering and filed applications.2-Hands-on practice on HEC-RAS built-in modeling examples.3-Modeling river on actual survey data: translation of river geometry from field survey in to the model, river roughness coefficients, steady and unsteady flow simulation (basic), model runs and results interpretation.

1-Gained basic information and knowledge of Trimmu Barrage (Jhang) and Panjnad Barrage ( Alipur, Distt Muzaffargarh).2-Guided by the Resident Engineer about the plan and sections of the barrage with its components.3-Objectives and Scope of the rehabilitation and upgrading works at both barrages particularly with reference of capacity enhancement.4-Observed placement of shuttering for bridge over additional bays.5-Witnessed Cutting and Bending of Steel Reinforcement of retainingwalls of junction groynes.6-Observed cutting and driving of Sheet Piles.7-Observed pier construction of additional bays.8-Observed finishing and curing of concrete.9-Performed Slump Test & Compressive Strength Test. 10-Visited the field laboratories equipped with different Apparatus.11-Visited the Batching Plant (100 cubic meter) and witnessed its operation in presence of the JE.
