As a Chartered Civil Engineer with a focus on hydraulic and water resource planning, I bring over a decade of expertise in the design, management, and execution of complex engineering projects. My career at the Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB) has allowed me to develop a deep technical foundation across hydrological modeling, hydraulic structure design, and reservoir planning, which I have applied to projects that range from Pre Feasibility, Feasilibilty and tender Design Stages.I have successfully led and coordinated projects, including the Pump Storage Hydropower Project (600MW) and Kubukkan Oya Reservoir (Irrigation and power Project), Wee Oya Reservoir Project ( Multi purpose reservoir Project, Flood, water Supply and power) and Seethawaka ganga hydropower Project (25MW) where my roles encompassed everything from hydraulic design and river modeling to stakeholder engagement and project team management. My background also includes expertise in advanced computational tools like ANSYS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and ArcGIS, which I have used extensively for simulation studies and design validation.My professional certifications, such as my Chartered Engineer status with the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka, and my commitment to continuous learning in areas like Computational Fluid Dynamics and finance fundamentals for engineers, underscore my dedication to both technical precision and project feasibility.I am passionate about developing sustainable, resilient water resources and infrastructure solutions and am always open to collaborative opportunities and innovative challenges in the civil and environmental engineering domains.
