About Roshan Sharma

I am a mechanical engineer with a passion for solving real-world problems using engineering principles and practical application. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Texas Tech University, where I also work as a Graduate Lab Assistant in the MCDERMOTT Advanced Prototyping and Manufacturing Facility.In addition to my academic and professional experience in the traditional engineering field, I have a keen interest in the intersection of engineering and the biomedical field. I have conducted research in the Biomedical Acoustic Research Lab, exploring the potential of low-intensity ultrasound for selective ablation of cancer cells as a minimally invasive treatment option. I have skills in lean manufacturing, process flow diagrams, and manufacturing processes, and have published a paper on the design and fabrication of an automated combat rover. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow as an engineer and make a positive impact on the world.
