Employed as a Safety personnel on the extension of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway to Point Fortin. It is the largest and most complex infrastructural development that has ever been undertaken in Trinidad and Tobago(NIDCO). The project involves the design and construction of a new highway from Golconda to the Dunlop Roundabout in Point Fortin. It is being built to international freeway standards comprising of a 47 km 4-lane dual carriageway and 2.5 km 2-lane roadway. it's main purpose is it connect the city of San Fernando and the southern towns of Debe, Penal, Siparia, Fyzabad, La Brea and Point Fortin.This infrastructure consist of :- » 45 KM LONG HIGHWAY WITH 4 LANES» 8 INTERCHANGES» 11 OVERBRIDGES» 3 UNDERPASSES» 10 BRIDGES » 1 FOOTBRIDGEAlso had the privilege of working with both the Concrete and Asphalt Plant of OAS and a number of Sub Contractors including:- 1.) VSL International Ltd (Responsible for all Bridges constructed along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway to Point Fortin highway’s extension) 2.) Paramount Transport and Trading company Limited (Transportation of Concrete Beams and other heavy lifting throughout the project) 3.) Soletanche Bach (Responsible for the pilling and foundation work for Bridges throughout the highway’s extension) 4.) ANSAD Services Limited (Equipment rentals and heavy lifting throughout the project: - Cranes, Excavators etc.)5.)
