Development of a ten-year $15 billion capital program financed by multiple sources, for the 10 campuses of the University- Guided development of master plans and development projects on behalf of the Board of Regents Initiated pro-active cash management of state funds allocated to the University, reducing a 40% unclaimed balance to 24% in 6 months - Initiated cross-team project for new database to optimize project management tools and reporting capabilities- Collaborated closely with campus stakeholders, to ensure that projects are positioned to use the funding opportunities being developed - Collaborated with campuses to revise space use guidelines

A $1 billion program to build a world-class multi-disciplinary University on a greenfield site of 6,000 acres in India. The vision of the founder, a modern-day Leland Stanford, was to create a university on par with the world’s best. The master planners were chosen from among HOK, Sasaki, Gensler and Ayers Saint Gross to plan a campus for 100,000 students. - Orchestrated the work of master planners, architects and engineers on an international team- Strategic planning and implementation of strategic goals.- Leadership role in planning the Medical Campus and 500 bed Teaching hospital - Completed and bid the 900,000gsf Academic Medical Center,designed by Perkins+Will- Completed and bid construction documents for 2.5 million gsf of University facilities and the - College town

Design Operations and Construction Operations (sequentially) The $2.2 billion Prop A/AA Bond Program, the largest public sector sustainable building effort undertaken; with a comprehensive policy on sustainability and alternative energy generation - 1200 projects, 37 LEED projects by 2006. - Worked directly with the Executive Director, LACCD, to develop strategies to implement program goals.- Oversight of Construction Teams for 9 campuses: URS, Turner Construction, Swinerton Management, Jacobs Engineering, Arcadis, Harris Associates and similar- Oversight of the Program Managers and Construction Managers,- Contracts and Purchasing, QA/QC, the Construction Safety program, the project labor agreement, small contractor outreach program- Initiated the one-megawatt renewable energy generation programdistrict staff- Planned for purchase or lease of strategic sites and properties with real estate consultants and - Worked with public agencies and utility companies- Review of legal aspects of implementing the program with Counsel- Presented project status to the District Citizens Oversight Committee and to the Bond Steering CommitteeSuccessful implementation and the community support generated led to the approval of the subsequent $3.5 billion Prop J Bond
