Authorities.  Approving advertisement story boards before shoot. Handling Consumer Complaints and ASCI Complaints.  Drafting of various Agreements, viz. – Confidentiality Agreements, Third Party Agreements, Contract Manufacturer Agreements, Cross Promo Agreements, Deed of Assignments, Model Agreements etc. Handling Real Estate Matters viz, Checking title documents and all relevant documents of the owners, drafting of Leave & Licence agreements, Lease Deeds, parallel agreements with employees of the Company. Following up with the Advocates for Trademarks, Patents, design registrations, Oppositions filing thereof. Following up with Advocates for the status of all the on going litigations in various courts all over the country. Updating the matter management on TYMETRIX 360’, which can be followed by Global Legal Organisation of Colgate. Brand protection and counterfeit- Examine the Packaging of the grey products with packaging team. If Packaging team is not able to confirm whether the product is counterfeit or not, send the products to Research team for analysis. Support the external Agent while conducting raids on the basis of the report received from Packaging team or Research team. Preparing budget in the beginning of the year and actual expenditure statement at the end of the year for the Legal Dept. Providing monthly provisions of Legal expenditure to the Finance dept.  Updating Corporate Governance Report before the Board Meetings.

 Attending Trade Marks application hearing in Trade Marks Registry. Giving opinion regarding registerability of trademarks. Opposing the advertised marks and drafting Notice of Opposition.  Drafting of Counter Statement, Evidence in Support of Opposition, Evidence in Support of Application, Evidence in Reply and various other related documents.  Maintaining filing system related to various trademarks.  Coached and supervised trainees from time to time
