 Analyzing of technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, methods, manufacturing, limitations, supplier facilities and availability of parts and equipment Reviewing of bid proposals and negotiating of contracts within scope of authority and budgetary limitations Recommending of suppliers to Purchasing Manager Development of new suppliers in teams with quality Monitoring of vendor performance  Preparation of purchase requisitions, purchase orders and bid requests. Planning / scheduling of production material for the Paris, IL and Hebron KY facility within the assigned commodities Cross functional teamwork with other departments Authorization of payment of invoices or return of goods Expediting of products to maintain timely delivery of goods and services to customer Played a key role in the plant wide implementation of SAP R3 in the Paris, IL facility in 2007. Extensive training in the SAP areas of Warehouse Management, Material Management, Production Planning

 Scheduling of all metal material needed for production for vendors stateside and abroad Maintaining of Inventory levels by adjusting incoming or outgoing materials in system Inventory reduction according to budget Production scheduling for entire plant including insert prep Coordination of outside processes like preparation of metals or other secondary processes done at outside vendors. Entering receipts of materials into system Experience both in customer service and shipping  Daily contact with European vendors and sister companies for coordination of various projects.

 Established business relation with European vendors. Established steady flow of import of inserts via ocean. Coordination between Paris plant and German mother company Customer service for products that were relocated from Germany to US. Involved in all prospects of the company due to translation, coordination and communication including quality documentation/procedures
