Created, manufactured, and sold nut-based dips in local farmer markets and grocery stores. Frequently sold out and had the opportunity to expand. Closed this business down to focus on raising children.

Oversaw and designed all operations of a day camp holding up to 90 campers per week and ensured delivery of programs and activities appropriate to camper population. Oversaw the financial management to allow for adequate annual funding and to meet long-term goals. Designed and implemented a marketing plan to increase camper attendance. Designed weekly newsletters and established strong relationships with parents. Implemented human resource management practices by recruiting, hiring,training and supervising a seasonal staff of 19 people.
