In my role as an election observer on the 2nd May, I will be responsible for monitoring polling stations in Leeds, reporting on the conduct of the election, and verifying that all eligible voters are able to freely and fairly cast their ballots. The data I and other election observers collect will be used by Democracy Volunteers to produce a report on the democratic state of UK elections. This is an important opportunity for me to contribute to the democratic process and support the fundamental right of citizens to participate in free and fair elections.

Experience in being part of an online event that promotes gender equality in the workplace: Bright Network’s International Women’s Day 2024. This role includes: using the platform Guild to ignite conversations amongst attendees surrounding gender equality in the workplace.Being part of a pre-event meet and greet for attendees to increase networking confidence.Attend and support the event on the day.
