Buyer:Maintain approximately fifty vendors, which cumulatively amount to about 80% of the store's revenue. Entry/deletion/editing of items in the point of sale system. Analyze sales trends on a weekly/monthly basis, which leads to creation and submittal of orders to vendors. Conduct store inventories to ensure accuracy in the store's point of sale system. Work closely with receiving and office staff to make sure that receipt of product reconciles with invoicing. Meet with vendor reps to learn about new products and help schedule events for consumers.Receiving/Stock Associate:Unpack boxes and compare contents with packing list; check inventory into point of sale system. Identify and separate special orders for customers.
