Oversees the operations of all projects and business within the Children's Services unit of the agency.Ensure efficiency and smooth workflow of projects and programs. Sets, establishes, and monitors each department’s goals within the unit, operations, budgets and guidelines in alignment with agency strategic goals and company mission. Professionally represents the department and or agency during internal/external meetings, community functions, and media coverages, liaising with external business partners. Provides leadership and sets positive tone/work environment that motivates direct reports (and their staff) to reach goals while implementing the company's policies and regulations. Promotes internal customer service to support staff retention and comradery.Builds and provides leadership and coordination for a unified team of intra-department directors by developing and maintaining a system of communication, reporting and accountability supporting agency, division/unit and project goals. Works collaboratively with agency senior management and peers to ensure cross coordination that bolsters agency goals and enhances customer service for stakeholders. In close coordination with finance and development, ensures programmatic and fiscal reporting to funders are accurate and timely. Troubleshoots internal challenges that compromise agency success and reputation in a timely manner.
