It is in our control! So, it is critical that we understand our Mind which continually shapes our Brain. MINDit creatively and powerfully applies the science of mind health to our everyday interpersonal interactions, whether at work or within our personal worlds. Influencing all we are and do including our: thought and behaviour responses, communications, decision-making, mental and emotional strength, problem solving, and adaptability. MINDit has proven to work beyond training individuals and providing tools but rather, to change the brain in situ - rewiring the brain through techniques to decrease or increase particular neuronal firing pathways affecting positive lasting change. Why MINDit? From the moment we are born to our very last moments, we are guided and shaped, individually and as groups - eg. families, friends, work team, social networks. We learn to mind our words; manners; behaviours; friends; mind our steps, etc. One of our earliest memories might be an adult saying, mind out; careful; watch out. All are alerts to draw attention to risk or remind us to focus - pay more particular attention. Walking down the street one day I came across a footpath warning and my mind went immediately into alert mode and my mind automatically drew on past learning to be careful and mind my step. Attention was activated and I was MINDit-ready!
