Roslyn Bucy Kaleal joined The Center for Community Solutions in 1978. She held a variety of responsibilities and, prior to retirement, served as Director of Administration and Special Projects, managing human resources issues, as well as working with the organization’s Communications team and with the Board of Directors. For 17 years, she provided leadership to the organization’s external affairs program, including general communications, publications, event management, and media relations. Ms. Kaleal has extensive experience in conference management, including over 25 years as manager of Community Solution’s annual Human Services Institute, the longest-running annual gathering regarding human services in Northeast Ohio. She has spoken to community groups and consulted privately on the topics of conference management and media relations. Ms. Kaleal also served as communications consultant to the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University, and managed two international conferences of the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council and events of the National Academies of Practice. She is a graduate of the Certificate in Nonprofit Management program of Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations, Case Western Reserve University, and holds an Associate of Arts degree from Cuyahoga Community College.
