• Assisted with start up of new veterinary centre (opened March 2007) and managed both practices. This included interviewing and hiring of new staff, purchasing of new equipment and setting up deals and incentive schemes with pharmaceutical companies. • Responsible for management of four nurses and one receptionist. Included organising staff rotas, monthly meetings and maintaining communication between all staff members. • Assisted with setting up Barons Court to gain accreditation to RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, Tier Two (achieved November 2005) • Assisted with setting up Notting Hill to gain accreditation to RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, Tier One (achieved August 2007). • Main liaison between the partners to ensure smooth running of both practices. • Main point of contact for pharmaceutical and pet food company representatives. • Involved in staff induction, ongoing training of student nurses and receptionists with annual appraisals. • Running of nurses clinics (obesity / geriatric / puppy) • Management of accounts. • Website administration including redesign, updating news articles and featured cases.
