    Warmworks Scotland is a joint venture between the Energy Saving Trust, Changeworks and Everwarm. It was formally established in May 2015 to deliver the Scottish Government’s £224m Warmer Homes Scotland contract, which went live on 1st September 2015. I was recruited as its first full-time employee in an MD role to build the business, head up a new project team to mobilise delivery for a 1st September contract start and then to lead the business in successful contract delivery in a live environment. Key achievements include: Successful delivery of a challenging mobilisation project that was formally signed off and given Ministerial approval both ahead of time and under budgetLed the organisation from the front, using an open and consistent approach to communication to foster trust and respect from key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that style and methods were tailored, meeting the demands of a rapidly changing start-up environment and then through to live contract delivery.Development and implementation of a contract-specific customer journey that placed customer service at its core, building trust with the Scottish Government through transparency, successful operational delivery and regular communication.Successful negotiation of a TUPE transfer of 34 staff, leading all consultation activity and formal communications to ensure a transfer that left staff positive and engaged in the future of Warmworks, whilst protecting the commercial position. Management of financial and IT workstreams to ensure that all financial systems and processes were built and implemented; and a fully functional, end-to-end and bespoke IT solution, encompassing both a desktop CRM and field-based mobile applications was built, developed, tested and signed off for go-live by the Scottish GovernmentRepresenting the business externally to key stakeholders, dealing with media enquiries and speaking at conferences and events.
