Sound Editor / Audio Engineer
CurrentAt This is Sound Design, I spearhead dialogue editing and ADR recording for almost all short and feature films that come through the studio. I also edit and engineer a variety of scripted podcasts that air on all podcast streaming platforms. Some projects I've worked on include the recent theatrical release, "Hard Miles" starring Matthew Modine and season 4 of "13 Days of Halloween" starring Natalie Morales.
Podcast Editor
CurrentSteph Infection is a weekly interview podcast hosted by comedian Steph Tolev where she and her guests talk about all things related to the body. I edit all video and audio for the 60 minute episodes that release every Wednesdays. Each episode begins with a unique intro I've designed that cuts highlights of the episode over the theme song. Additionally, I write all copy that is posted in the titles and descriptions of each episode. The show airs on YouTube and all podcast platforms with social media clips posted to profiles with over 1M followers across platforms.
Producer, Writer, Director, Audio Engineer
Temple Pilots is an Emmy-nominated, scripted, anthology television show at Temple University Television, which takes student ideas for a TV series and makes their pilot episodes. For the first two episodes of Temple Pilots I worked as an audio engineer on set, and an audio mixer post production. For the third episode, I worked as a producer and was a co-writer of the script. On set, I was the script supervisor and in post I worked as a director of post-production, where I oversaw the video editing process and mixed the audio for the episode. In the latter half of the my time at Temple Pilots, I spent my time overseeing all of production. For the fourth episode in my junior year, I was a co-director. And for my fifth and final episode of the series I served as the executive producer The first two episodes of the series, "Elevated" and "Strays" were nominated for a Mid-Atlantic Emmy award for Long Form Content by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and "Strays" won the Emmy award. The first four episodes can be viewed on TUTV's website and the fifth one will be releasing this fall.
Writer, Director
Temple SMASH is a student run sketch comedy show that produces about 60 sketches every year to air on Temple University Television. Collaborating with a team of 11 writers, I wrote and directed comedy sketches that would release in 4 episodes over the course of the year.
Production Intern
As an intern with the comedy podcast Office Hours Live with Tim Heidecker, I would schedule social media content to post to the show's Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook profiles that regularly reach over 20,000 users. Additionally, I extracted highlights from the show's back catalogue of episodes in order to compile a "Best Of" reel for the show's Twitch page. Finally, during the weekly live tapings of the shows, I would act as a moderator in the Zoom room and the YouTube page to screen viewers questions and prevent any offensive or inappropriate comments.
Radio Host, Staff Writer
WHIP is Temple's radio station that streams on many online radio platforms, most notably being iHeart Radio. I host two music shows "Keep It Moving" and "The Basement Show." Each week on "The Basement Show" I will book local artists to come into the studio and play a live set on air. I will mix the audio live and conduct in an interview. As a writer, I will go out to concerts in the Philadelphia area and write reviews of the events.
Operations Intern
As an operations intern, I spent time working with consumer phone calls and reviewing them for quality assurance.
Live Sound Engineer
In this position, I will set up all of the microphones and run sound checks prior to performances at the Fort Washington School of Rock. During the performance, I will mix the audio through a 32 channel console to get the best sounding performance as possible.
Audio Engineering Intern
As a summer intern at Headroom Studios, I would work closely with the engineers and assist them in all aspects of running a recording session with a band. I would set up microphones, route the patch bay to set up signal chains, and run the board while the artist are recording an instrument. When not working on a session, I would be editing previously recorded projects on ProTools or prep ProTools files for a future session. In this position, I furthered my knowledge about audio engineering, studio recording, and working with clients in a creative and professional environment.
Marketing Intern
As a marketing intern, I worked closely in developing welcome kits for the company's new clients. I would create heat maps that would give the client a visual representation of advertiser concentration. In addition, I spent time researching prospective business as a target market for the sales department.
