Key responsibilities• Manage the day to day trading operation of the Treasury in Singapore and Hong Kong, including interest rate and liquidity risk, FX risk and portfolio investment activities• Develop new avenues to increase profit by increasing the current product range and new markets, plus refine processes and operational effectiveness to maintain a low cost base• Develop customer business within the Asian region for the available product range and risk profile of the DZ Group• Liaise with the relevant governing authorities, customers and stakeholders, both internal and externalAchievements• Installed a new front end operating system in both Hong Kong and Singapore which has improved efficiency and enabled the introduction of new products in both centres• Increased the underlying balance sheet five-fold by expanding business in current markets and adding new products. New products include financial futures, swaps and CDS• Helped install a performance review program in Singapore that helps to better gauge performance of individual staff and departments.
