My contract role is split between working in the SSO Server and Systems team providing high level support, and now currently working in the windows10 Project team (TAP) as lead deployment engineer.In the Windows10 project team (TAP) I am deploying the software and imaging devices to users as part of the pilot phase, using SCCM 2012 and managing applications via GPO and documenting and supporting the process. This phase has also given me an opportunity to work with and support the SLT (Senior Leadership Team). I have also documented the deployment process and trained deployment engineers.As part of the SSO team work I support Office 365, Sophos Secure Email Gateway, Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, Vmware, Azure, Storsimple. I use Axios Assyst for recording and tracking the support incidents and service requests.

Managed the external helpdesk for several months until team was restructured as well as providing IT support. I was involved in installations and upgrade projects, I contributed to and attended weekly management meetings, and potential client visits and audits. I provided onsite and remote high level support to external customers alongside team members, using platforms such as SBS 2011, Server 2012 R2, Office 365 and used a variety of software solutions including Go to assist, Veam, Symantec, Sophos, Eset, Zendesk and Naverisk. Hardware predominantly used was Cisco including meraki, HP, Lenovo, Dell and Yealink. I also supported the Hosted Accounts team with the implementation of projects and technical issues on hosted exchange, Hosted desktop and Cloud phone, when required.

I was an Infrastructure consultant and provide high level field service support and I am involved in consulting, planning and installing large server projects. I have been involved in sbs 2000 to sbs 2003 migration and exchange 2003 to 2010 migrations and sbs 2008 to sbs 2011 migrations. I have also been involved in numerous windows 2003and windows 2008 installations including one for five sites including installing Sonicwall firewalls and setting ipsec tunnels.Operating systems include windows XP, Vista, and 7. Windows 2003 server standard/enterprise and SBS, Windows 2008 standard/enterprise, SBS and Windows sbs 2011 and Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010 and hyper-v and vmware.As well as gaining further knowledge in server installations I have gained more knowledge into - Sonicwall firewalls, netgear routers, Barracuda spam and firewall, Gfi Mail essentials and isa 2004.- Sophos antivirus, Symantec antivirus and Eset /nod32 anti virus - Symantec Backup Exec 10 to 2012- Acronis Backup and Recovery ServerHardware used continues to predominantly be HP e.g. ml 350 and 370 servers and procurve switches and rack mounting kit.

Operating systems include Windows 98, NT, 2000, XP and predominantly Windows 2000 Standard Server and Windows 2003 Standard Server.My role has greatly enriched my IT knowledge and is to effectively monitor clients servers remotely and monitor system performance, backups, events and resources and to proactively prevent possible failures and recommend solutions to future problems identified, as well as providing day to day technical support, and going on site for client installs as well as administrating servers. Calls for clients are logged and updated in Microsoft CRM 1.2
