🤫 Working on some awesome secret stuff!

Turned conventional fantasy on its head to conceptualized a brand new IP to sit alongside D&D and Magic: The Gathering. Came up with original characters and an entirely new extended story universe. Collaborated with other disciplines to ensure Narrative strength in every detail of this fresh and exciting world. Planned for a cross-medium franchise, with a TV show to support the launch of the game. Wrote job descriptions and worked with recruiting on departmental hiring.

Worked in concert with the Lucas Story Group and ILMxLAB devs to virtually send players to the outer rim of a galaxy far, far away! Created new characters for one of the world’s biggest franchises. Wrote lines for legacy characters like Yoda (voiced by Frank Oz!) and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels!). I was the sole writer on this, which is crazy, so I wrote every line of dialogue, journal entry, and tool tip, etc. This VR shooter was an Oculus exclusive for a few years, but is now a launch title for the PSVR2.

Leveraged my expertise and knowledge in structure and storytelling to revamp and strengthen a new game idea’s narrative. Generated many, many documents to flesh out the lore for this original IP. SO. MUCH. LORE. Developed characters, wrote audition sides. Worked alongside Production to create Narrative schedules. Crafted art briefs for characters, locations, and items.

Built a brand new narrative department and product from the ground up. Developed an interactive fictional, voice-activated podcast for commuters. Created two original IPs and wrote branching episodes for each. Managed support writing team and their contracts. Partnered with outside audio studios. Selected a writing tool and worked with programmers to create a content pipeline. Directed casting and VO sessions. Maintained budgets.The app won the Best Mobile Game of 2019 from the Best Mobile App Awards.

Immersed players in dynamic branching stories. Lead Writer on Batman: The Enemy Within episode 3; contributing writer on episodes 4 and 5, which culminated in players getting to choose how to craft their own Joker. Writer on Guardians of the Galaxy episode 4. Writer on Stranger Things, an unreleased Telltale game due to studio closure. Worked with the creative team to break a story that expanded the universe of the hit Netflix show.

Wrote dialogue and storylines for ArenaNet’s worldwide hit videogame, Guild Wars 2. Worked on the Heart of Thorns expansion and supervised all five episodes of Living World season 3. Worked with artists, designers, and audio engineers to ensure strongest narrative possible. Managed voice over sessions with actors and VO directors.

Created an original animated series bought by Amazon Studios for their streaming service. Wrote pilot, character descriptions, and bible for the show. Provided feedback on art direction. Gained tons and tons of world-building experience.

Wrote characters and storylines for Xbox and mobile videogames. Aided product teams in narrative development. Gave notes on art and audio in terms of story enhancement.

Traveled the world overseeing all aspects of production on two-hour specials. Managed production team. Assigned producers to shoots based on talents and strengths. Handled delivery schedule.

Wrote episode for the long-running "Penguins of Madagascar" series and multiple episodes for the reboot of Voltron Force.

Created an original animated series for The Disney Channel. Wrote the pilot and bible for the show. Oversaw pilot production. Developed characters and storylines for this built-from-scratch world. Collaborated with development execs on direction of show.

Propelled a serialized storyline, writing multiple episodes across two seasons for The Secret Saturdays, a half-hour animated action show.
