I started Autoline in 1985 as a distributor of pneumatic automation equipment, mainly the Festo brand from Germany.We then added a range of industrial gear including air compressors, paint spray equipment, workshop equipment, and specialist automation products.

Joined MacEwans on leaving college as an Engineering Cadet, working in the Machine Tools and Pump division then the Martonair Pneumatics division.Was appointed the Service Technician at age 19 then as a Technical Sales Representative when I was 21.Enjoyed this job selling automation systems to manufacturing industry in the Wellington area.
