Over the last seven years, I have been in employed with Whole Foods Market working my way up from a team member to a department buyer/specialist to a management position as an Associate Grocery Team Leader. The skills acquired with my experience at Whole Foods Market include: training and developing team members; purchasing products for various subteams (grocery, frozen, dairy, and bulk); executing team scheduling; inventory, shrink, and sales reporting; and merchandising sales floor plans on a weekly basis. My educational and volunteer experiences center around public health and sustainable farming. Having graduated from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary health, I have been involved with several internships working with the Champaign-Urbana public health department which entailed educating elementary children on health and wellness. I have several volunteer experiences working on organic farms throughout different periods in my life which involved caring for livestock and operating farm equipment and vehicles.
