Most of my clients are providers of equipment and services such as camera, light, sound and prop rental houses, post production and event production companies. I have also insured over 100 films and television series, 1,000’s of commercials and a number of large events. Among some of the more challenging projects, I was the insurance broker for a film involving the US Navy SEALS that required insuring a large number of stunts and pyrotechnics, including the use of live ammunition, along with waterborne and foreign exposures. I also secured favorable terms for an international concert tour with a total event cancellation and non-appearance limit in excess of $75,000,000. Due to my prior training and experience, I have in-depth knowledge of coverage forms and potential issues that can arise in regard to film and event production, production rentals and event insurance. This knowledge has helped me form strong relationships with the major insurance carriers that write these exposures, allowing me to secure broad coverage at competitive rates.
