About Ross Hart

Old-timers (and I'm getting there) would refer to my practice as a "Chancery Practice" which is working with equitable remedies rather than pure dollar "legal" remedies. I now concentrate in Elder Law, and am a member of NAELA, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and am on the board of directors of its Virginia chapter. Elder law includes (but by no means is limited to) estate planning and adult guardianship and protection, preparation of wills, administration of estates and trusts. I have taught brief seminars to other lawyers on how to process an adult guardianship; forms and the outline are on my website: www.hhatty.com.Real Estate law is another area of expertise. In 30 plus years of practice, I've handled thousands of real estate transactions. In Residential Landlord-Tenant law I have taught numerous seminars to property managers and other lawyers; sample forms -- written in plain English -- are also on my website.
