Agusta Westlands (Field repair services, RNAS Culdrose, cornwall – UK): Mar 09-Jan 10.Aircraft Type - EH101 (Merlin)Experience includes: (Main discipline used Level 2 – ET – MRO - Military)• Designing new reporting systems and templates for all NDT work regularly carried out.• Writing new detailed inspection techniques for the company to ensure all relevant faults will be effectively located and reported.• In depth inspections for defects on critical structural components of the aircraft including the Main Landing Gear Tension Box and Tail Hinge beams for cracking and corrosion.• In depth reporting of all inspection defect findings.• Working as sheet metal worker within a close knit specialist team when NDT was not required.• Maintaining total flexibility and adjusting working patterns to obtain maximum efficiency in output of the work on the aircraft. • Multi-tasking at any one time on up to 3 working lines of Merlin (EH101) aircraft in different locations.

British Airways Maintenance Cardiff (Cardiff airport – UK): Jan 08-Jun 08: Aircraft Types-B747, B777, B 767Experience includes: (Main disciplines used – Level 2 ET, UT, PT and MT – MRO)• Intensive ‘C’ and ‘D’ check level inspections carried out daily on the above aircraft.• Relocated quickly from Bahrain to UK to meet the demand from British Airways (under 4 days).• Working as part of a close-knit NDT team, who work constantly with engineers to be able to ensure the company is able to achieve maintenance goals as efficiently as possible.• Carbon fibre inspection experience on B777 aircraft made of mainly carbon fibre construction.• Working various changing shifts including nights and weekends to ensure maximum flexibility at short notice to meet the work requirement in the most effective and productive manner.• Daily use of SAP/EWS at Engineer authorisation level, creating and amending defect orders as required.

SR Technics/Gulf Air (Manama airport – Bahrain): Jul 06-Dec 07: Aircraft Types-B767, A320, A330, A340Experience includes: (Main disciplines used – Level 2 ET, UT, PT and MT – MRO)• Successful Set-up and management of Gulf Air’s newly created NDT facility in the Middle East from its concept including the setting up of in depth both training and audit systems.• Carrying out a wide variety of NDT techniques during the company’s daily maintenance on all aircraft (above) flown by Gulf Air in Bahrain.• Managing NDT requirements on wheels and their bolts for the newly formed Wheel and Brake workshop.• Constant Liaison with all Senior Management in Switzerland and Bahrain to ensure the section ran IAW both company and customer policies and procedures.

FLYBE (Exeter airport – UK): Jul 05-Oct 05: Aircraft Types-BAe 146, Bombardier Q300 and Q400.Experience includes: (Main discipline used – Level 2 ET – MRO)• Worked at Very short notice (1 day) long distance (circa 500 miles) as cover when FLYBE’s own NDT operator was taken to hospital for a major operation.• Intensive ‘C’ Check inspections carried out daily on the above Aircraft.• Travelling between Birmingham and Exeter airports as required to assist the company in meeting the work demands.
