CurrentSenior advisory role to the Queensland Government on rail and port related developments within Queensland, including three years seconded into Department of Transport and Main Roads. This included advising on rail and port activities associated with the Queensland the resources industry, and rail infrastructure planning and new transport corridors within SEQ. Major projects included co-development of the Rail Strategy within the SEQ integrated regional transport plan, Connecting SEQ 2031, Project Director on major rail corridor studies including the Southern Freight Rail Corridor, Landsborough to Nambour Realignment and Duplication Study, and Bundaberg Port Rail Corridor Study. Other major projects of involvement included strategic advisory roles on Cross River Rail, Moreton Bay Rail Link, Australian Trade Coast Transport Study, Gladstone State Development Area infrastructure land use study, Surat Basin Railway, rail expansion projects in Central Queensland, Strategic Stabling Investigation for the Brisbane suburban rail network, the Gold Coast Rapid Transit project, SEQ Capacity Improvement Study, and SEQIPP Stage 2 project prioritisation. Consulting role for various private and public sector companies, including mining companies, transport providers, rail network managers, and property developers, particularly in respect of rail related proposals and activities. Has included strategic planning, detailed planning and feasibility studies, procurement and project implementation, and peer reviews.
