UNFORTUNATELY, NOBODY WOULD BELIEVE THE PLOT" - LIAM FAY, THE SUNDAY TIMESRugby Nomad is a 1-hour documentary film shot, directed and edited over 1 year in Kazakhstan, India and Sri Lanka. The story follows Luke O'Callaghan, a Limerick born rugby player, as he attempts to qualify for the Rugby World Cup with his adopted country Kazakhstan. Shot on mini-DV, narrated by former Ireland international Denis Hickie, and incorporating Super 8 footage, this solo project was supported by the Arts Council and broadcast repeatedly on Setanta Ireland during 2007, receiving critical acclaim.
