I am a dedicated security professional with a huge breadth of generalist experience acquired across commercial, military and maritime sectors, both in the UK and overseas. My commitment to continuing professional development is evident throughout my career and I’m now keen to harness my security expertise to add value in a corporate environment. During my 20+ year career, I have established a reputation in the security sector as a laser-focused and loyal security professional with a strong work ethic, utmost professionalism and genuine integrity. I do my best work in a role with change, challenges and complexity. Between 2014 and 2022, I was employed as Security Coordinator to an executive of a top-flight football club as part of the wider security dynamic of a high-profile UHNWI. While safeguarding the client, I was also called on to oversee selected business matters on their behalf. The role was a fantastic opportunity to build on my commercial awareness. Concurrently, I have been running my own security consultancy, Willow Resources, since 2014. Clients engage me to design bespoke security solutions that I deliver personally and / or through a network of associates. We offer diverse security operations, including close protection and surveillance work. The company is also contracted by large security companies to fulfil work branded as their own.I started my career in the military before moving into close protection. At a young age, I was entrusted with safeguarding the British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. I also spent time during my early career as a maritime consultant. I have extensive experience in surveillance, notably enabling the arrest, alongside analysts and solicitors, of a long-time international fugitive.My ability to mitigate risk, whether physical, technical or reputational, has been key to my success. I am fully competent to lead on emergency preparedness, business resilience planning and incident management protocol. Leveraging my military mindset, I excel at translating problems into solutions. I am detail-orientated and analytical with strong technical proficiency.Well qualified, I hold PRINCE2 Practitioner status, FREC 4 certification and the SIA licence. Currently, I am working towards the BTEC Level 5 Risk & Resilience Managers Professional Certificate through Control Risks.
