Mr. Morrison is currently the Systems Administrator for a customer facility in Reston. He is the lead administrator supporting the network and domain. Mr. Morrison also supports SIMS and SharePoint sites including SQL DB backend servers. Included in his duties, Mr. Morrison also manages facility security, equipment management and inventory.

Mr. Morrison was a Systems Administrator on a team offering on-site tier-one support. The environment consisted of a user base divided into multiple groups operating on both Windows and Linux systems. The team also managed a large server farm that supports mission critical data.• Performed management for multiple domains, Active Directory, Group Policies, system deployment, and software support for a user base of over 200 including Microsoft and Linux Red Hat Operating Systems.• Coordinated software evaluation, approval process, and procurement.• Proposed future back-up strategy, managed current back-ups two domains utilizing Symantec Back-Up Exec 2010 & 2012.• Supported Advocent transmitter and receiver switch network.• Provided hardware and software deployment, removal, and replacement for a large server farm with multiple user bases, and classified networks.• Built, tested, and performed updates on dual boot systems and virtual machines using VMware.

Mr. Morrison managed the entire IT Enterprise for McClendon, a $40 Million annual revenue business with over 250 employees at 10 locations. He was responsible for all network systems, digital phones, teleconferencing, print servers and printing solutions, COOP plans, and Audio/visual systems.• Designed and implemented the server architecture for McClendon’s enterprise network. The Server architecture includes Exchange, SharePoint, Active Directory Domain Controllers, SQL Databases, Deltek Finance Systems, the company’s outward facing Web presence, and hosting for over 30 office automation and contract operations applications. • Established a quarterly IT Review Committee to discuss current issues that face the network enterprise. This group was comprised of representatives from the Business Development, Finance, On-site contract operations, Business Operations, and Human Resources Directorates. This Committee guides future IT decisions and strategies, and helped to foster better communication and trust between IT and other departments.• Ensured all corporate General Computing Controls (GCC) SOX Compliance for McClendon. Mr. Morrison developed and enforced all controls and facilitates network testing. The enterprise maintained 100% compliance with no gaps or deficiencies.• Performed additional COOP duties for the company as Acting IT Security Officer, and controller of the headquarters independent SCIF TS/SCI network environment.

Proposed and implemented a SharePoint Portal for Headquarters Marine Corps. Prior to this, the customer relied on an inefficient system of physical media distribution for collaboration across several geographic sites. Mr. Morrison's team deployed the SharePoint system, enabling customer log-on from anywhere on the classified network, increased information management efficiency, and streamlined the availability of critical information to headquarters personnel. Created a Web messaging support framework for HQMC Secret SIPR Network. Mr. Morrison coordinated 9 web designers representing each Division in accordance with a standard development baseline. This system allowed each Marine division to control their messaging while maintaining baseline compliance and interoperability across the enterprise. Deployed all IT systems and provided O&M support to the HQMC Crisis Response Center. The CRC provides critical real-time battlefield information to Marine Corps decision makers. Mr. Morrison's team performed 24-7 network monitoring and IT support in a high op-tempo environment with unique requirements.Provided a wide range of general IT support services to headquarters special projects including:Implemented the network COOP plan by mirroring the headquarters classified database at two separate sites in case of failure or a catastrophic event. Provided field support to alternate sites during emergency COOP drills to ensure team readiness. Relocated three headquarters divisions' operating systems and server farms to a consolidated data center.Deployed a fully tested GCCS IOW 4.0.1.3 compliant image to over 60 users.Initiated and managed Secure Video Teleconference systems to support weekly USMC Commandant Briefs.
