• Elected to Board of Directors beginning January 1, 2016;• Filed Maryland Public Information Act request to investigate a chicken processing facility’s requested NPDES license renewal; analyzed information received from Maryland Department of Environment and other state agencies; drafted public comment letter on behalf of MRC regarding objections to draft permit; testified on behalf of MRC at public hearing on permit renewal;• Campaigned for Talbot County Council to invest in ditch retrofit proposal intended to decrease nutrient discharges from polluted agricultural runoff to local rivers;• Coauthor of Citizens Guide to Effective Public Comments to NPDES Permits currently being edited and prepared for publication.

Represented the Gunpowder Riverkeeper in challenges to the construction of the Line MB natural gas pipeline through over 80 streams in Baltimore and Harford Counties; defended the Circuit Court’s remand of construction permit on appeal to the Maryland Court of Special Appeals; drafted, filed, and argued numerous motions in both courts.
