This position required me to be the social representative for the club, this involved welcoming new members to the club, as well as organising and conducting social events.• In my final year I achieved the role of Vice President of the club. This role required me to work on more of the background operations including deciding on times and type of training. • These roles helped me to improve my communication skills and my ability to work in a functioning team. Firstly, I regularly had to coach students of all ages and backgrounds, which therefore meant my instructions had to be clear and precise for everyone to understand. Finally, being part of the committee resulted in working regularly with peers to develop and improve the tennis club on a weekly basis. Show less
