I am a Sophomore studying Accounting at Pacific. One of the main reasons why I chose to study Accounting is that I love numbers and number crunching. I love the way that a number can point to a specific area of a company and tell that company if it was bigger, then this would happen or if it was smaller, then this would happen. I have yet to have experience in the accounting field except for the classes I have taken : Managerial Accounting and Financial Accouting. These classes taught me the beginning steps of what accounting is and from that, I know that this is the right field of work for me to be in. Not only am I a student at Pacific, but I also am on the Men's Basketball Team. Playing basketball here has taught me many things like teamwork, hard work, dedication and leadership. These attributes are ones that are very important in life and I know they will be needed when I am done with school and am going into the work force.
