With over 14 years of experience in the automotive industry, I am a competent and reliable parts quality inspector with a passion for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for Nissan and its customers. I have a professional certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDTP), which demonstrates my technical knowledge and skills in measuring and inspecting parts and assemblies. I also have a diploma in supply chain management, which reflects my understanding of the complex and dynamic processes involved in delivering products from suppliers to customers.As a parts quality inspector at Nissan, I lead technical investigations into supplier component quality issues, liaising with suppliers and internal production departments to develop and implement effective counter-measures. I also represent the company in supplier meetings, approving supplier 8D reports and ensuring compliance with Nissan's quality standards and specifications. I use various tools and methods to inspect and verify parts, such as supplier part gauges, parts unification gauges, GapGun Pro2, and ultrasonic testing. I have also trained and mentored new apprentices in the ultrasonic testing department, providing them with guidance and feedback.
