While running my own micro-business in developing electronics and Arduino kits, I developed the skills to explain clearly and concisely how a kit worked, how to assemble and test it in stages, and how to address any problems that may be encountered during the build process. I leveraged those skills during my time at Microchip Technology to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences in marketing materials, including product/peripheral videos (YouTube/Vimeo), internet how to guides (Hackster.io), hands-on lab sessions (AIoT DevFest 2020) and Internet LiveStreams (Microchip's IoT Week 2020).I was hired by Microchip Technology because of my skills in multiple embedded systems platforms, from beginner to more advanced as well as my ability to explain technical topics so that less-technical audiences could understand.While working in the marketing side of technology, I found that companies can greatly benefit from data analytics to more effectively target marketing strategies. I realized that marketing campaigns should be multi-pronged to target several different consumer groups with varying skill levels to achieve full saturation.
