-Launched company Mailchimp email marketing campaign, and drafts and sends out two updates monthly.-Provides backup to NRG and its clients with hiring, social media, and overall marketing strategy.-Drafts and copy edits content for the NRG website.

-Owned national media campaigns from start to finish, developing comprehensive multifaceted communications plans and strategies to garner the highest volume and quality of coverage for the organization.-Responsible for increasing the organization’s media mentions in top outlets, including The New York Times, Washington Post and Wall Street Journal.-Wrote and edited 50 news releases, blogs, position statements, internal memos and other public facing materials per month with an eye toward message consistency, clarity and relevance.-Cultivated relationships with top national journalists in our issue areas, strategically pitching them so they pick up and run our stories in their publications.-Built and maintained several media lists segmented by campaign, using Mailchimp to send out mass communications for report releases and rapid response.-Managed the organization’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, increasing visibility for our campaigns and regularly interacting with journalists.

-Managed and curated content for over 50 Facebook and Twitter accounts to activate and engage the organization’s members on clean energy issues.-Wrote and disseminated emails to an audience of 350,000 Environment America members to encourage targeted action on priority issues and financial contributions.-Launched Environment America’s blog platform on Medium, and wrote or copy-edited at least one blog post per week.

-Directed the Denver office’s field campaign to persuade voters and get out the vote in the 2016 election.-Recruited, interviewed, hired, trained and cut canvassing turf for a 50-canvasser staff that knocked on over 100,000 doors.

-Launched campaign website and was responsible for the candidate’s social media accounts. -Regularly drafted communications materials and pitched reporters to cover campaign announcements and events.
