Minnesota Branch

Territory included MN, ND and SD. 80% marketing, 20% undewriting surety credit in all lines. I handled the largest territory in the company expanding production in a penetrated market up to $2,100,000 in premium. Responsible for production, underwriting and budgeting for all bond lines. Achieved growth of 9% in 2004 and 8% in 2005.

Minneapolis Branch

Part of a 5 person surety team that profitably build the branch surety premiums up fro $1mm in 1990 to $12,000,000 in 2003. Responsible for underwriting 120 contact bond accounts including large surety accounts and the SBA Plan B Program. Contract bond underwriting and marketing in a 4 state territory. Commercial bond underwriting for a large grain bond program in the State of Minnesota as well as large reclamation bonds and other commercial bond accounts.

Minneapolis Branch

Set up and managed a new territory/branch from scratch for the company building it to $450,000 in written premium. Responsibilities included; management, budgeting, supervision, production and marketing. 4 state territory.

Minneapolis Branch

Responsible for underwriting, marketing, rating, and supervision. Extensive experience in commercial bonds, fidelity bonds, and financial institution bonds. Managed a $1,500,000 department.
