I have worked in the packaging industry since 1988. For my first 17 years, I worked for Domtar Pkg/ Norampac- St. Marys. I spent the first 2 years as a designer, learning about design, material and the many aspects of corrugated packaging and its manufacturing process. I also spent a few months as a CSR before earning the opportunity to become a Junior Sales Rep. I had success with sales and earned the Corporate sales representative title and dealt with large corporate accounts. As part of a cross training program under Domtar Pkg., I took on the responsibilities of the Quality Manager function for 2 years. Shortly after Cascades purchased Domtar to form Norampac, I went back to my comfort zone in a sales position and grew a new territory from $4M to $14M over 8 years. I enjoyed my tenure with Domtar/ Norampac where I gained very valuable training to enhance my knowledge and skills within the corrugated packaging industry.In February 2005 I joined Sertapak as a Sales representative. Sertapak primarily designed and converted custom returnable packaging for the automotive industry. I was responsible for their corrugated bulk box sales and much of their expendable packaging for automotive export and service contracts. I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience with expendable and returnable packaging design solutions for the automotive industry.In June 2008 I decided to venture off and start Engineered Packaging Solutions Inc. (EPS Inc.). We eventually partnered with selected manufacturer's of custom designed corrugated paper products, custom designed heavy gauge thermoform products, custom designed EPP (expanded polypropylene), custom designed injection moulded packaging and custom designed returnable protective dunnage solutions to meet your system needs. We provide our customers with the right packaging solutions to encompass and satisfy the scope of work set forth and to ensure their products get to the end customer in perfect condition.
