Honing my underwriting and credit analysis skills as a Relationship Banking Officer (ARM II), I was able to do the heavy lifting as the senior analyst for the state as well as start to take on a junior outside sales role. As the most senior ARM II for Public Finance, I held monthly conference calls with the entire analyst team, consisting of four others across the state. These meetings manifested a team mentality among all of the analysts by providing a platform to request assistance with workload or for guidance for other work-related issues.

From day one as an Associate Relationship Manager (ARM I), Frost grooms their financial analysts to become producers. I served Frost's Public Finance team primarily in the Houston, Fort Worth, Permian Basin, and Corpus Christi regions, while assisting as needed with the Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Valley regions. I was fortunate enough to travel to the various regions Public Finance serves in order to build comradery with the Relationship Managers and attend calls with customers all over the state.Frost Bank’s twelve-week formal credit training program at corporate headquarters in San Antonio, TX provided the essential foundation of knowledge to build upon in the field.
