My responsibilities included: - Vintage Inns Activation: Leading on the creation of the new food proposition trial for the brand and eventual rollout of the final menu to all of Vintage Inns. This was a staggered menu roll-out taking place over three months, working around huge logistical moving pieces such as kitchen refits and a draught range review, for which I won the award for Innovation at the MAB Marketing Pride Awards 2016. - Drinks menu: Leading on the creation of the new drinks proposition and menu direction, to create a new format with a focus on promoting packaged beer and our new premium gin range, the latter of which saw a 5.9% LFL NODs uplift after the first menu analysis. Part of this was integrating the menu change alongside back bar merchandising guidelines.- Leading on Christmas and key dates: Liaising with a large range of stakeholders and internal departments including finance, creative/digital design and food development to produce POS and digital comms using a new, distinctive look and feel for the brand. - Affiliate partnerships: Working with Gourmet Society and Bookatable to develop ongoing partnerships and create innovative digital comms of VI offers to a new guest base. I also setup the affiliation with CAMRA in our pubs. - Sign up strategy: Implementing a guest data acquisition strategy, utilising in pub POS to drive guest sign ups in 2016, achieving an average of nearly 60% since introduction of the initiative. - Supplier relationships: Working with our drinks suppliers to activate new products and create RTVs for our guests – this included securing a fully supplier funded drinks menu for LN16.
